Itinerary
The Hoang Su Phi Private Trekking Tour (5D4N) is thoughtfully designed to provide a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. Each day offers a new chapter of discovery – from breathtaking landscapes to immersive local experiences. Follow the itinerary below to see what awaits you on this unforgettable journey.
- 07:00 AM – Private car and English-speaking guide pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi. Depart for Thong Nguyen town, gateway to Hoang Su Phi (approx. 6–7 hours).
- 12:30 PM – Arrive in Thong Nguyen. Enjoy a local lunch.
- 02:00 PM – Begin trekking from Thong Nguyen to Nam Hong village. Walk along scenic trails through terraced rice fields and local hamlets.
- 04:30 PM – Arrive at Nam Hong village. Check in to a local Red Dao homestay and rest.
- Evening – Dinner with the host family. Enjoy a peaceful night in the mountains.
- 08:00 AM – Breakfast at the homestay.
- 08:30 AM – Start trekking uphill with panoramic views of rice terraces overlooking Khanh Trung valley.
- 12:00 PM – Stop at Khanh Trung for a picnic lunch and short rest.
- 02:00 PM – Continue trekking through the “Heaven Gate” of Nam Ai, arriving at a traditional stilt house in Nam Son commune.
- 04:30 PM – Check in at a Dao ethnic homestay in Nam Ai.
- Evening – Dinner with the local family, followed by a cultural exchange and the chance to try on traditional Dao attire.
- 07:30 AM – Breakfast at the homestay.
- 08:00 AM – Trek to Lung Thang village, crossing small streams and ancient trails.
- 12:00 PM – Reach Lung Thang and have lunch with a local family.
- 01:30 PM – Continue hiking to Ho Thau, home of the Nung ethnic group.
- 04:30 PM – Arrive in Ho Thau village. Check in at a riverside homestay.

- 04:00 PM – Arrive in Ban Luoc. Check in at a Red Dao family homestay.

- 07:30 AM – Breakfast at the homestay.
- 08:30 AM – Trek a short distance to the main road.
- 09:30 AM – Private car picks you up for the return journey to Hanoi.

- 05:00–06:00 PM – Arrive in Hanoi. Drop-off at your hotel. End of tour.
