Ha Giang Loop Tour

Fantastic experience!! Fabulous views, excellent drivers making it a fun and safe experience. The accommodation was all great, alongside the food and the stops we did along the way. Highly recommend!

We have had a wonderful time in Ha Giang region with our driver and guide Benji; each day was full of nice adventures, amazing discoveries and cultural experiences. We arranged our private 7-day tour by a car with Vision Travel in September 2024. I always search for local agencies, and I feel very happy that I found this one. With this company you pay a small amount at front as a booking deposit and the rest - at the end of your trip, so no worries. Vision Travel is a local North Vietnamese travel agency and they use local guides. We met at a dinner time with other guide and happy couples travelling on motorbikes in a private tour arranged by the same company. These guides know local people and locations very well. They introduced us to their families. We were amazed listening to local peoples stories and seeing their real lifestyle, how people work and live on the land.<br/>There were many breathtaking views of Nature on the way. You can see people working in the fields in their national clothes. Lots of different tribes are living there. Benji took wonderful pictures of us in rice fields and other places. Our guide-driver team was very caring about us, three female friends in late 50-s. Accommodations were clean and beautiful. We were provided with 3 quality meals each day, water and Wi-Fi in the car and in hotels. The tour was customized according to our wishes. You really do not need to worry about anything.<br/>Highly recommend booking through them for a private tour. We received wonderful memories. This company is local, trustworthy and provides with real unique experience.

The Ha Giang route went through all the well known places and many others. The driver was very competent and friendly and as a guide had excellent knowledge of all places visited including local customs and practices. The car was spacious, clean and comfortable. Any unexpected “issues” were promptly and professionally resolved.

We had THE BEST time doing the 4 day loop. We had excellent communication with Alex via WhatsAp from Australia who tailored our tour for our needs. We had a private tour with 2 east riders, Aly and Cho. Wow, these guys were sensational. They are all about safety first (which is a must) helping us with our safety armour.<br/>They took us everywhere. Up and down the gorgeous mountains. Through the back streets of local villages. They were so helpful with my partner when we visited the cave (felt like a thousand steps).. they were both so patient and very kind. We had amazing home stays and we tried different foods. We stopped regularly at jaw dropping look outs, and we travelled some pretty dicey roads full of rocky gravel. We felt safe at all times. My partner and I ride motorbikes in Australia, and I have to say, these boys know how to ride well!!! And those scooters are well equipped for anything thrown at them. A magical experience you must do in northern Vietnam. It was the highlight of our trip. Not to be missed.

Amazing motorbike tour. Would highly recommend.<br/>We did a 4 day private tour with 7 people led by guide Hanh and 6 other drivers. The tour was well organized and the restaurants/homestays visited were fantastic. Being in a smaller group allowed us to go to quieter less torusty locations.<br/>Even if you are confident on a moped I would recommend having a driver as the road conditions would be very challenging and it would be much harder to appreciate the scenery.

Just back from an amazing 3 day trip around the Ha Giang Loop with Vision Travel. We cannot recommend Hung and his team enough. They were knowledgeable and drove with care and expertise in difficult conditions. We had a lot of rain and were given everything we needed to keep our luggage and ourselves dry. We were also given knee and elbow protectors which we didn't see on other groups.<br/>Hung spoke excellent English and his enthusiasm and pride in his home region was infectious and kept us going. The whole team were incredibly upbeat and took us to some amazing spots to catch the views when the weather cleared as well as showing us the local sights along the way. As first time riders we felt very safe on the roads and well looked after.<br/>Our first night at Chien's Home Stay, in Du Gia, in individual en-suite cabins was particularly lovely and all the food along the was was good.<br/>We would definitely recommend these guys!
