This guided motorcycle tour commences in the beautiful city of Ha Giang, including the famous Ha Giang Loop, an adventure tour through the Dong Van karst plateau, the perfectly formed road curves of the highland region, Ban Gioc waterfall and Ba Be Lake. The 7-Day Northeast Vietnam Motorbike Adventure is thoughtfully designed to provide a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. Each day offers a new chapter of discovery – from breathtaking landscapes to immersive local experiences. Follow the itinerary below to see what awaits you on this unforgettable journey.
Some say the roads to Dong Van are the best in Ha Giang, they could be right. This is a beautiful ride northwards through the mountains of Ha Giang with lots of ridge line viewpoints. Once in Dong Van, you will visit Dong Van old quarter with its historic market.
Today will be an amazing day. You will ride on the Happiness road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac, stopping to take a photo at the stopping on Ma Pi Leng Pass, a 40-minute walk down to make a boat trip on Nho Que river, watching the Tu San canyon. After lunch, continue our trip to Bao Lac town, which is located on the bank of Gam river. A perfect setting after a mindblowing days ride.
You will have a beautiful ride down the mountains and northeast to pick up the Bao Lac Loop road with its beautiful curves. Your destination, Ban Gioc, has become a buzzing lively town with all-year-round activity.
Today you will visit Ban Gioc Waterfall - one of the 4 largest waterfalls in the world on the border between the two countries. After taking a boat to visit Ban Gioc waterfall, you will continue your trip to today's destination - Ba Be National Park.
After 4 days of continuous driving, we want to spend today letting you relax at Pac Ngoi village - a village on the banks of Ba Be Lake. While taking a boat to visit Ba Be Lake, if it is sunny, you can swim in the lake if you want then please remember to prepare your swimming suit.
Heading to Du Gia village from Pac Ngoi village, you’ll have lunch on the way and then ride some more great twisty roads south to Du Gia, a Tay ethnic group village.
This is the end of the tour. On your last day, you will have an easy sweeping ride along the Gam River. You will visit some amazing waterfalls before you head back to Ha Giang.
