The itinerary is designed that you can get an essence of rural Hoang Su Phi and it’s way of living. Most of ethnic people settled in Hoang Su Phi is red Dzao. 4 Days Trekking in Hoang Su Phi starts from Thong Nguyen , a small town. The end point of trekking route is Ban Luoc.

Itinerary

The 4 Days Trekking in Hoang Su Phi - Northern Vietnam is thoughtfully designed to provide a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. Each day offers a new chapter of discovery – from breathtaking landscapes to immersive local experiences. Follow the itinerary below to see what awaits you on this unforgettable journey.

In the morning, Our diver will pick you up at your hotel and drive to North Vietnam. After leaving the Red River Delta, we travel through a hill territory. Mountains and rice terraces will appear after a few hours of driving. In the afternoon, arrive in Thong Nguyen which is small village of Hoang Su Phi. We will have 2 hours trekking (3 km) to the Nam Hong village where we stay to night. Nam Hong is a small remote village of the Red Dao ethnic group.

Check in bungalows which are built by bamboo and wood, and thatch. After that, walk around the village to enjoy a breathtaking mountain with rice terraces. Have dinner and overnight at Hoang Su Phi Bungalow. In the everning, take part in the traditional and culture music show of ethnic groups around Hoang Su Phi. 

After breakfast, we will enjoy climbing up and down to the mountains through beautiful rice terraces, then we reach the village of Nam Khoa of Dao Man Ta Pan. Enjoy lunch at homestay.

Continue walking through some of the landscapes listed as the National Natural Heritage. Depending on the season, we can see different farming activities: plow, transplant or harvest rice. In the afternoon, we arrive at village of Nam Son inhabited by the Dao Ao Dai (long tunic). Here, you can see crafted products such as, silver jewels, cotton as material and indigo remained as Dao Man Ta Pan, Dao Ao Dai people are distinguished by their traditional dress and hair style of the women. Enjoy dinner at a homestay of Dao Ao Dai. (15km - 5,6 hours)

After breakfast, then take a longer walk than yesterday when we are moving on ascending paths. We then will enter a remote and wild area that offers superb views. Have lunch at homestay of Red Dao in Doan Ket village.

In the afternoon, continue to walk in grandiose scenery of terraced rice fields stretching as far as the eye can see. Have dinner and overnight at the Nungs or Dao Ao Dai ethnic group in Tan Phong village. (15km - 5,6 hours)

We will start our trekking day after breakfast and we will have lunch on the way. Next, continue trekking through beautiful landscapes of terraced rice fields to arrive Ban Luoc village where car is waiting for our trip back to Hanoi. (7km - 3 hours)

Refunds are available depending on the timing: more than 15 days before departure: full refund (minus fees); 8–14 days: 50% refund; 4–7 days: 25% refund; less than 3 days or no-show: no refund.
