Hemad Nazari, an Iranian photographer, recently received an award for The best photo in the Vietnam Tourism Campaign #WhyVietnam
#WhyVietnam is a national campaign of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to encourage Vietnamese citizens and foreign visitors to capture and share their best moments in Vietnam. The campaign attracted a great number of artists and celebrities to share and inspire. There have been thousands of beautiful pictures of Vietnam by travellers explaining why they choose Vietnam as their destination.
In the video, Lung Cu Flagpole and Ma Pi Leng Mountain are must-visit attractions when travelling to Vietnam.
The winning photo of Ha Giang with the inspirational title of Iranian photographer Hemad Nazari: “Every seconds of my trip around Vietnam was an amazing scenery to stop and watch. From the wonderful mountains in North to the Mekong Delta in South, all was great moments, Thank you, Vietnam.”
Hemad also added: “I took this photo while I was shooting a project in Ha Giang and would have a photo exhibition in the next few months in Hanoi. I’m really interested in photo contest #WhyVietnam because I love this beautiful country. I also have experienced journeys from North to South. I really love the scenery, the people and the ethnically rich villages in Ha Giang. Therefore, there are a lot of photos that I took about this land.”
“You can’t easily find this kind of traditional life ” says Hemad. “That’s why Ha Giang is one of the few places I have been to which I have enjoyed every moment of it.”
